How do we greet in German, French, Spanish, and Italian?

I’ll translate the same quotes in French :-) “Salut!” (If it’s a friend you know or Bonjour/Bonsoir… depending on the time of day- formally) “(Comment) Ça va? Ravi(e) de te revoir!” “Ravi(e) de te connâitre.”/Enchanté(e)”.

sorry, I don’t feel like giving tips in German, I just know Hallo, güten morgen, all is gut:-)) hope it helped

So, let’s start with some basics :-)

Do British people say 'biscuits' when they mean cookies and 'jelly' when they mean jam, instead of saying the American words for them (cookies, jelly)? If so, why?

”Hola! Como estas?” Encantada/o

“Ciao, come va? È bello rivederti” (Hi, how are you doing? Good to see you.) or “Piacere di conoscerti” if you met them for the first time…
